 Fishing from the breakwater is very popular with Mackerel, Pollock and the occasional Sea Bass being landed. Further along Wrasse can be battled with off the rocks and fishing from the beach is also a possibility with the right equipment.
Years of experience and expensive equipment are not prerequisites: On one occasion two young lads landed a fair sized turbot from the breakwater with the minimum of equipment.

We don’t want to dampen enthusiasm too much but please take care. In even a modest swell waves can break over the wall and shore rocks will become slippery.
